Overview
The AI Report BI Chatbot allows users to interact with their reports by asking questions and requesting further analysis directly within the report interface. This tool enhances the usability of reports by providing quick insights and recommendations.
The chatbot features two conversation modes:
- Mathematical Mode: users can perform calculations, manipulate data, and generate reports, making data interaction more intuitive and efficient.
- Analytical Mode: the chatbot summarizes data, identifies trends, and predicts future risk areas. It’s designed to help users quickly understand their data, uncover hidden patterns, and make informed decisions based on predictive insights.

Use Case
A supervisor reviews a Work Observation report and uses the chatbot to identify trends in unsafe behavior over the past quarter.
Using the AI Report BI Chatbot
PREREQUISITE: The user must have the “Copilot AI - Report Chatbot” site setting enabled.
In order to use the AI Report BI Chatbot:
- Navigate to the report with the Copilot BI Chatbot enabled.
- Select the chatbot icon in the upper right-hand corner of the report.
- Ask questions about the data, such as "What are the common hazards?" or "Can you provide a summary of this data?"
- The chatbot will analyze the data and provide answers, recommendations, or data in table format.
- Use the insights provided by the chatbot to inform decisions or take action based on the data.
